Brighter Future Fund 2025 Grant Recipient Dirtbaby Farm.
Airbnb and American Farmland Trust are launching the Farm to Stay Grant Program through AFT’s Brighter Future Fund. This national grant will support farmers and ranchers creating or expanding farm stays and experiences as an additional income stream. We will distribute approximately 25-30 grants of up to $10,000 each.
Farmers and ranchers are navigating rising costs, volatile markets, and weather-related risks. At the same time, traveler interest in rural destinations and farm stays is growing. Not only will this partnership help farmers and ranchers build an additional income stream; it will also give more people a meaningful connection to working farms and ranches and the families who operate them.
Eligibility and guideline details will be made available before applications open in late November 2026.
Airbnb and AFT staff will be hosting webinars for farmers and ranchers interested in the grant program or learning more about agritourism opportunities. Register by clicking either date: Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 5 p.m. ET and Friday, Nov. 13 at 12 p.m. ET.
Applications will only be accepted via a secure portal on SurveyMonkey Apply. Details for account creation will be available in late November. Applications will be reviewed in the order received, so applying early is encouraged. The program will accept approximately 350 applications.
A total of $250,000 is available for awards, with grants of a minimum of $5,000 and up to $10,000 per recipient. Approximately 350 applications will be accepted.

The program will be available nationally to eligible for-profit production agriculture operations that want to develop or expand a farm stay or experience as an additional income stream connected to their working farm or ranch.
