A certified crop advisor with 35 years of experience in soil and water conservation, Jeff Ten Eyck works with farmers to improve their on-the-farm stewardship practices. Ten Eyck joined AFT in 2015. He looks forward to leading on-farm demonstrations, farmer trainings, and communications activities to promote the adoption of soil health practices among farmers in the Long Island Sound and Lake Ontario watersheds.
For many years, Ten Eyck served the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, where his expertise included: conservation planning, BMP implementation, and working with State and Federal Conservation Programs, including coordination of New York State's Agricultural Environmental Management Program.
