Justin Bodell joined American Farmland Trust in 2018 as the California Conservation and Stewardship Program Manager. In his role, Justin leads the charge on a collection of our Farmers Combating Climate Change projects aimed at preserving the long-term health of our soil and water. Justin's immediate projects include the San Joaquin Land and Water Strategy and Farms for the Next Generation.
A licensed landscape architect, Justin has 20 years of experience in the design and implementation of natural resource conservation projects, including erosion control on farms and ranches, water conservation, wetlands, in-stream habitat enhancement, rainwater catchment and native species revegetation. Prior to his time at AFT, Justin served as a Project Manager at the Sonoma Resource Conservation District.
Justin earned a B.L.A. in Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University.
