Ben Kurtzman is an information and legislation specialist for AFT. He responds to requests for information regarding farmland protection and collects information on federal, state and local farmland protection programs, laws and policies.
In 2003 he served as assistant producer of The Barber Farm, a documentary film about a Vermont family’s efforts to preserve their farm.
He joined AFT in 2005 after serving as a law clerk to the Superior Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Kurtzman holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont and graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts.
