Poll Shows Mainers are Committed to Protection of Land, Air and Water

One of American Farmland Trust's partner organizations, the League of Conservation Voters Education Fund, completed a poll to find what influence environmental concerns will have on the way Mainers plan to vote in the November 2002 election. In a major finding, 87 percent of voters indicated that issues involving clean air, clean water and open space are important to their decision on which candidate(s) to support.
