In conjunction with the release of U.S. Agricultural Policy and the 2007 Farm Bill: Promoting the Economic Resilience and Conserving the Ecological Integrity of American Farmland, the Woods Institute for the Environment at Stanford University and the American Farmland Trust present
Domestic and International Perspectives on the U.S. Farm Bill Debate. The anthology of papers grew out of three workshops with national and international farm policy leaders to discuss the future of U.S. agricultural policy.

Several panels will present their reflections on U.S. farm bill conservation and commodity proposals, and the current state of the 2007 Farm Bill legislation. Speakers who have confirmed their participation include former Ambassador and chief agricultural negotiator Allen Johnson; Charles Conner, Deputy Under Secretary of Agriculture; Dr. Dan Sumner, UC Davis; Robbin Johnson, Cargill (retired); Dr. Buzz Thompson, Stanford University; and Dr. Kaush Arha, Stanford University.
