Krysta Harden
Krysta Harden became the new USDA Chief of Staff on January 31, 2011. Since April of 2009, Harden has worked as assistant secretary for Congressional Relations at the department. Before arriving at USDA, Harden served as Chief Executive Officer for the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD) from 2004 to 2009. Operating from NACD headquarters in Washington, D.C., she was responsible for the association's policy development and member services programs and coordinated strategic planning, budget formulation and related business operations.
