Patrick F. O’Toole is president of Salisbury Livestock Co. and managing member of Ladder Livestock Company LLC and Banjo Sheep Company LLC. He and his wife, Sharon, joined the family ranching operation in 1975, following graduation from Colorado State University.
In addition to ranching, Mr. O'Toole served in the Wyoming House of Representative from 1986 to 1992, when business and family obligations made him decide not to run for re-election. In 1996, President Clinton appointed him to serve on the Western Water Policy Review Advisory Commission, which examined water policy in the Western states and made recommendations. He authored the minority report of that Commission. Since 2004, he has served as president of the Family Farm Alliance, an organization that represents irrigators in seventeen Western states.
He and his wife have three children and five grandchildren.
