Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
As Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Bill Kuckuck focuses on leadership and governance issues while overseeing the day-to-day management of AFT’s farmland protection activity and two research institutions—the Farmland Information Center and the Center for Agriculture in the Environment.
Kuckuck previously worked as Business Group Managing Director at Marine Harvest Europe in the Netherlands. He was recruited to restructure and stabilize the under-performing business group for Nutreco. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President for Global Customer Partnerships at Agribuys.com, Inc., the leading provider of supply chain management software for perishables, where he authored the company’s strategic marketing plan and led all customer acquisition activity. Earlier, he worked for 25 years in senior management positions at international agricultural companies, including Ralston Purina Company.
Kuckuck grew up with a dairy background in Wisconsin and received his B.S. in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Wisconsin and his M.B.A. from Rockhurst College/Boston University. He currently resides with his wife Joni in Washington, D.C.
